See How They Run

Join us for this rollicking British farce performed as a fully costumed staged reading at the beautiful Deep River Town Hall Theater.
Which Vicar is THE Vicar??? Oh my goodness the trouble that brews when "Penelope" tries to sneak in a show of Private Lives with her old acting partner "Clive" while her husband "Vicar Lionel" is off on Vicarage duties - especially with the meddling "Miss Skillon" lurking about the Vicarage, not to mention the Bishop, the Russian Spy, the all knowing maid "Ida" and Vicars and Bobbys everywhere you turn!
The merriment is directed by Joyce Beauvais and produced, as always, by the iconic Ivoryton Playhouse.

About Us

The Ivoryton Players was founded in 2014 by director, Joyce Beauvais. Members meet for rehearsal once a week over the course of the Fall and Spring, each season culminating in staged readings that, to date, have been received with enthusiastic standing ovations. Our members include all levels of theatrical experience, from those with extensive backgrounds in theater to those who are stepping onto a stage for the very first time. All members have the opportunity to engage in performance, costuming, sets, props, publicity, and more. Our over-arching goal is to enrich our lives with the fun and comaraderie of theater and to share that joy with our audiences.

We extend our deep gratitude to Jacqueline Hubbard, executive/artistic director of the Ivoryton Playhouse and to all its staff and crew for their continued support.

Visit the Ivoryton Playhouse website for information on their exciting 2016 Season.
